Dr. Midhuna Vijayan is a healthcare professional from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, with a Master’s in Hospital Administration from the Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE, and a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).

She brings a strong interdisciplinary background, integrating clinical knowledge with healthcare management. During her academic tenure, she actively led research and academic projects focused on hospital quality standards, public health systems, and healthcare delivery improvement.

A confident communicator and natural leader, she has coordinated interdepartmental academic activities, mentored peers, and represented her programs at conferences. Dr. Shabeeha Hasib holds a Master’s in Hospital Administration from the Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE, where she was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for securing first rank in her first year. She also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar.

She has built a strong foundation in hospital administration through internships at institutions including CARE Hospitals, Manipal Hospitals (Bhubaneswar), and Kasturba Medical College (Manipal). With over two years of clinical experience as a general dentist, Dr. Hasib bridges patient care with systems thinking.

Her academic interests include quality assurance, healthcare operations, digital transformation, and patient safety. As Placement Coordinator for the MHA program and lead organizer for events like SVASTH’24, she brings leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Ms. Dnyata Dhanajirao Pandit is a Ph.D. Research Scholar in the Department of Hospital Administration at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, India. She holds a Master’s in Hospital Administration (MHA) from MAHE and a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Chaitanya Medical Foundation’s College of Physiotherapy, Pune.

With over a decade of professional experience in the healthcare industry, Ms. Pandit has worked extensively in hospital operations and quality management. Prior to entering academia, she held key roles in reputed hospitals, leading initiatives to streamline administrative workflows, strengthen patient safety, and improve healthcare delivery standards. Her operational experience includes managing hospital accreditation processes, implementing quality improvement programs, and overseeing patient services.

Her current doctoral research focuses on designing and evaluating digital communication interventions to enhance patient-caregiver satisfaction in surgical waiting areas. Her broader research interests include healthcare communication, digital health solutions, hospital quality systems, and patient-centered care.

Ms. Pandit has published in a Q1-indexed international journal and contributes actively to academic literature that bridges practical challenges with evidence-based research. She brings to the editorial team a strong foundation in hospital systems, quality improvement, and applied health services research, with a commitment to advancing scholarly collaboration in healthcare administration and management.

Varshini R J is a postgraduate scholar in Hospital Administration at the Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. Her academic and research interests span hospital operations, health systems research, digital health policy, and implementation science.

She has gained hands-on administrative experience through internships at Fortis Hospital, where she contributed to projects on patient experience optimization, turnaround time analysis in radiology, and operational workflow improvement. Her academic work includes systematic reviews, implementation research, and studies on digital health adoption and healthcare expenditure.
